The Walk for Hunger

Norwood Food Pantry

You and I can help our hungry neighbors get the food they need during COVID-19 crisis!

The Walk for Hunger has always been about a promise to provide relief to those struggling with food insecurity, and while the physical walk will not take place this year on the first Sunday in May, as it has for 51 years, we will fulfill our promise to support those most in need of help as we raise funds for COVID-19 crisis hunger relief.

Your gift right now will ensure that children can continue to receive school meals while their schools are closed, that Massachusetts residents can call our emergency FoodSource Hotline for assistance in finding food, that the voices of those most vulnerable to the impact of the coronavirus will be heard in the State House, and all of the other ways the Project Bread is working for and advocating on behalf of our low-income neighbors.  Project Bread has helped set up 1100 school meal sites for kids to eat while school is closed.

My Team can't reach its goal of helping as many people as possible without your help, so please make as generous a donations as you are able — whether it's $25, $50, or even $10.

We must all do our part to stop the spread of this virus. Now is when we need to come together to protect our community. Now is the time to act.

Thank you so much for taking care of our neighbors in need!
