About the Walk for Hunger

Since 1969, project’s Bread Walk for Hunger has provided critical resources for hungry children and families in Massachusetts. Today, the Walk for Hunger is the oldest continual pledge walk in the country, and the largest annual one-day fundraiser to alleviate local hunger. Around 30,000 people do the Walk for Hunger every year and together they raise about $2.000.000!

Money raised through the Walk for Hunger funds more than 400 food pantries, soup kitchens, food banks, and food salvage programs in 135 communities across Massachusetts. 

When and where is it?

• The ISB team will meet at 9am at the Park St T stop (outside). Please register in advance so that I know whom to expect. We will confirm the meeting time once we are closer to the event.
