The Walk for Hunger 2023

Sharing the Harvest- YMCA Southcoast
Support Our Fundraising Team for The Walk for Hunger
Sharing the Harvest Community Farm (STH) was created in 2006 as a grassroots effort to alleviate hunger for children and families in southeastern Massachusetts.
Since its inception, STH has donated 750,000 pounds, the equivalent of 62,500 meals of nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables, through our partnership with the United Way of Greater New Bedford Hunger Commission. Sixty percent of the funds raised during the Walk for Hunger will support the operating expenses necessary to grow the healthiest produce possible at the farm for our neighbors in need. The remaining 40% will go towards Project Bread’s goal of raising more than $1 million to increase food access for people of all ages in Massachusetts.
Click on the DONATE NOW button above and let's ensure kids and families have food on the table during this crisis and beyond!

Our team is participating in The Commonwealth - a fundraising share program where 60% of the funds raised by our team will support Sharing the Harvest. Learn more.
