The Walk for Hunger

HFI Cares Team

HFI Cares Team will be virtually walking with Project Bread.

For over 10 years, HFI has made a commitment to this cause and has agreed to match 100% of the money raised during this event.

Together we can make a difference… You and I can help hungry children and families access the food they need during COVID-19 and beyond!

The Walk for Hunger has always been about a promise to provide relief to those struggling with food insecurity. And while the physical walk will not take place this year on the first Sunday in May — as it has for 51 years — we will fulfill our promise to support those most in need of help as we raise funds for COVID-19 crisis hunger relief.

COVID-19 is seriously impacting food insecurity for those most vulnerable in Massachusetts.

Today, your donation supports rapid response to this crisis, so no one goes hungry.

Your gift will ensure children continue to receive school meals while their schools are closed. Massachusetts residents can call Project Bread's FoodSource Hotline for assistance in finding food. That voices of those most vulnerable to the impact of the coronavirus will be heard in the State House, scalable policy solutions urgently needed to address the crisis are hard fought for, all of the other ways the Project Bread is working for—and advocating on behalf—of our low-income neighbors.

We can't reach our goal of helping as many people as possible without your support, so please make a donation as you are able — whether it's $10, $50, or even $5. Every dollar counts - no donation is too small!

Now is when we need to come together to protect our community. Now is the time to act.

Thank you so much for taking care of our neighbors in need!
