Help me raise money to prevent and end hunger in Massachusetts!
I'm proud to be participating in Project Bread's 51st Walk for Hunger on Sunday, May 5 and am asking for donations to support community-based programs across MA that help people access and afford food.
Last year I was able to raise over $2,000 with your help and am going to try to raise $2,500 this year. Because this is my 6th Walk for Hunger, I have become increasingly passionate about the cause and in turn have founded the BHS Walk for Hunger Club at school. Our mission as a club is to raise awareness towards the thousands of people in need of help with providing healthy food for their families. So far we have held a bake sale after school as our first fundraiser and in only two hours we were able to raise over $150!
Hunger impacts 1 in 10 people in this state, and in some communities as many as 7 in 10.
Please help me reach my goal by making a generous donation--whether it's $25, $75 or whatever you are able to afford.
You are making a difference for the people who rely on these programs!
Thank you!
