Help me Reach My Fundraising Goal for The Walk for Hunger!
Project Bread has been a longtime partner of the First Congregational Church of Revere Food Pantry in helping to provide food to residents of all ages, through school meals, the Summer Eats Program and our pantry. The cityof Revere has 12-13% of families living at or below poverty levels. These families were hardest hit during the pandemic, many of them employed as essential workers. In 2022, we served 3574 families in our community. Since then, the numbers have only increased.
Our food pantry participates in the Commonwealth Program with Project Bread which gives 60 percent of all funds raised by our team back to our own food pantry.
Participating in our the event, by joining or donating to our team is one way to help our neighbors in need. You never know who is struggling in our community.
