I believe that access to good food is a basic right, and I am proud to be joining Project Bread in May for the 49th annual Walk for Hunger. I have been involved with this Walk since the first in 1969; I plan to stay involved by walking the 20-mile route and raising money for as long as there are food-insecure people in Massachusetts.
You can support my Walk by clicking on the purple donate button above my photo!
This year, more than 300 local programs including food pantries, meal programs, food rescue, urban agriculture, farm and garden, and critical child nutrition programs in more than 100 Massachusetts communities will be supported through money raised by Walkers (and runners!)
Every dollar helps support the nearly 675,000 food-insecure children and adults in Massachusetts who can’t always predict when they will have another meal.
Please donate to support my efforts, or join me by walking and raising money yourself; either way you will make a difference in the lives of people across Massachusetts.
Thank you so much!
