Entertainment Along the Walk Route
Each year, musical groups perform at various locations along the Walk route to keep Walkers entertained and motivated. See below for a list of performers, and approximate times and locations for the 2013 Walk for Hunger.
Main Stage, Boston Common
11:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
Rainbow Tribe will be performing fun, high energy dances for the walkers and audience!
1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
The Regressions perform songs from the 1950s to the 1980s, with special emphasis on Motown, R&B, British Invasion, Classic Rock, and Golden Oldies. The band prides itself on its musicianship, energy, and creativity.
Boston Common Finish Line
Odaiko New England
11:45 A.M. - 1:45 P.M.
Japanese Taiko drummers from Odaiko New England will generate a thundering Wall of Sound to welcome Walkers at the finish line.
BLS Step Squad
1:45 P.M. – 3:00 P.M.
The Boston Latin School Step Squad is a dynamic group of students. They perform traditional African American step routines. Their performances are invigorating and they will leave you wanting more.
3:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Walk-i-oke is an alternative sing-a-long, group karaoke experience that engages all ages in the joy of making music. A live band with family friendly pop music makes this a howling good time for all.
Temple Beth Zion, Brookline
9:00 A.M - 10:00 A.M.
Vinyl Street is a semi-professional co-ed a cappella group based out of Charlestown, MA. Covering pop and rock hits, Vinyl Street writes all their own arrangements and can be heard performing all over Greater Boston. The group is very excited to be recording their first album!

Drumbodhi plays a mixture of African, Afro-Cuban and Afro-Caribbean rythms that will keep your feet moving.

Peter Larson & David Medeors

David and Peter began almost a decade ago directing walkers. They decided to start playing their instruments and signing to speed things along – now with a generator and amplification they jam out to their favorite songs to inspire walkers and cheer them.
The Cantabile Band

The Cantabile Band specializes in the music people in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries played for home entertainment. The music will be sung and played on recorders, fiddles, serpent, flugelhorn and other instruments.
Giroux Bros. Martial Arts

The Giroux Bros. Martial Arts Performance team- a fusion of tradition, sport and entertainment
Cambridge Boat Club
Four Noble Truths

Four Noble Truths is a four piece rock band performing original music.
12:45 P.M. – 1:45 P.M.
Abstract Scenario is Jazz/Fusion quartet led by pianist Erica Telisnor. The band includes guitarist Omar Sosa, bassist Jackson Mann and drummer Ayinade Webb.
Weld Boathouse (Harvard)

Erin currently holds 4 State Titles through the New England Country Music Organization and 1 National Title through the North American Country Music Association for her performances.
3:15 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Dance2Save will provide a fun upbeat hip hop routine to motivate the walkers with live performance including Connor Fischelis.
