In June, we held a cocktail reception for donors at Ming Tsai’s Blue Ginger restaurant in Wellesley. Ellen Parker, executive director, and Scott Richardson, director of research and special initiatives, discussed innovative, local, and sustainable solutions to ending hunger in Massachusetts. Find out more about the event! Chefs in Head Start Celebration This past May, we held an event celebrating our Chefs in Head Start program. The program is headed up by our very own Chef Educator, Vanessa LaBranche, and truly reflects our fresh approach to ending hunger. The Chefs in Head Start program, located in Lynn, and funded by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, is capturing both the imaginations and taste buds of young children before they develop a preference for foods high in sugar, fat, and sodium—something that is prevalent across the country, and not just with our kids.
